Choosing a font for my main masthead took some time, I decided that I wanted to use a sans serif font as it fits better with the codes and conventions of a music magazine. Here is a selection of fonts that I like:
My favorite one is the fifth one down called "Keep Calm" Using this font I have modified it slightly in Adobe Illustrator to make it a bit more alternative:

I like how this looks and think to has a alt. feel about it. To keep consistency I have decided to make the same style for the 'Contents' title:
